在字画回收市场上，有一句话叫 “品相定生死” 。同样一幅画，卷筒存放和折叠存放，回收价能差一倍。很多藏家不懂保存之道，把好端端的名人字画糟蹋成了“废纸”。以下3个品相误区，每一个都在让您的藏品贬值。

The recycling price of the same painting can be doubled when stored in rolls or folded. Many collectors do not understand the art of preservation and turn good celebrity calligraphy and paintings into 'waste paper'. The following three misconceptions about appearance, each of which is devaluing your collection.

误区一：软片字画可以随意折叠。 不少藏家认为软片（未装裱的画心）可以随意折叠存放，既省空间又方便。这恰恰是非常大的误区。短期（1个月内）折叠存放虽不会立刻破损，但长期折叠会让折叠处纤维老化、开裂。据济南高价收购市场数据，折叠存放超6个月的名人字画，能达到高价收购标准的不足15%，而卷筒存放的达标率高达98%。正确做法：所有软片字画建议卷筒存放，不能折叠。 卷筒存放时，建议在画心外包一层无酸纸，再装入专用画筒，避免受潮和虫蛀。

Misconception 1: Soft film calligraphy and painting can be folded freely. Many collectors believe that the film (unframed artwork) can be folded and stored freely, which saves space and is convenient. This is precisely the biggest misconception. Short term (within one month) folding storage may not immediately cause damage, but long-term folding can cause fiber aging and cracking at the folded area. According to market data from Jinan's high priced acquisition market, less than 15% of celebrity calligraphy and paintings that have been folded and stored for over 6 months can meet the high priced acquisition standards, while the compliance rate for roll storage is as high as 98%. Correct practice: All film calligraphy and painting must be stored in rolls and cannot be folded. When storing the scroll, it is recommended to wrap a layer of acid free paper around the center of the painting and then load it into a dedicated painting drum to avoid moisture and insect damage.

误区二：机裱字画可以揭裱修复。 宣称机裱可揭裱的，大多是机裱商家的营销话术。机裱用化学胶黏剂，揭裱需专用解裱液，这类溶液对字画有腐蚀性，尤其会让印章部位模糊，破损率高达75%。即便冷胶膜机裱小幅作品勉强能平整，大幅作品的平整率也不足10%，与手工浆糊装裱的修复效果天差地别。正确做法：字画一定要手工装裱，不要机裱。 已经机裱的作品，尽量不要揭裱，强行揭裱只会让作品变得更糟。

Misconception 2: Machine mounted calligraphy and painting can be repaired by removing the mounting. The claim that machine mounting can be peeled off is mostly a marketing tactic used by machine mounting merchants. Chemical adhesives are used for machine mounting, and special demoulding solutions are required for demoulding. These solutions are corrosive to calligraphy and painting, especially making the seal parts blurry, with a damage rate of up to 75%. Even though the cold glue film machine can barely flatten small works, the flatness rate of large works is less than 10%, which is vastly different from the repair effect of manual paste mounting. Correct practice: Calligraphy and painting must be hand mounted, not machine mounted. For works that have already been mounted, try not to remove the mounting as forcibly removing it will only make the work worse.

误区三：轻微破损不影响价值。 很多藏家觉得“画是完整的，只是边角有点破损，应该不影响价格”。事实恰恰相反——哪怕一处细微破损，都可能让回收价缩水50%以上。无虫蛀、无霉斑、无大面积撕裂的作品价值更高。纸面轻微泛黄属于自然老化，不属于严重瑕疵。但折痕、水渍、虫蛀、修补痕迹，每一项都是扣分项。

Misconception 3: Minor damage does not affect value. Many collectors believe that 'the painting is complete, only the corners are slightly damaged, which should not affect the price'. The fact is quite the opposite - even a slight damage can cause the recycling price to shrink by more than 50%. Works without insect damage, mold, or extensive tearing have higher value. The slight yellowing of the paper surface is a natural aging and not a serious defect. But creases, water stains, insect damage, and repair marks are all deducted items.
